Buhari’s eligibility suit adjourned to April 22


Abuja - The coast is now clear for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari to contest the March 28 presidential election, reports Punch.

This is because a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has adjourned all the suits challenging the eligibility of Buhari to contest the election until after the poll.

The court has adjourned the suits till April 22 and 23, 2015.

The new date was arrived at after the presiding judge, Justice Adeniyi Ademola dismissed applications by two intended parties to join the suit as defendants.

The adjournment according to Justice Ademola would affect all the pending suits against Buhari in his court.
