Abuja - The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Muhammadu Buhari, has been accused of trying to reverse the anti-gay law in Nigeria to gain votes, DailyIndependent reported.

According to reports he has been entering into discussions with some European countries in order to receive financial support by reversing the law.

The allegations were made by the People's Democratic Party Director of Media and Publicity, Femi Fani-Kayode at a press conference.

Kayode further expressed that Buhari wants to legalise same-sex relationships in the country if only he could get the power.

This happened during Buhari's last trip to London where leaders of some of the countries made an offer that he is willing to consider.

The PDP has however called this shameful behaviour and the matter should be brought to the people of Nigeria.
