British Prime Minister writes Jonathan ahead of elections


Abuja -  British Prime Minister, David Cameron has written to President Goodluck Jonathan to ensure that Nigerian elections are conducted in free, fair and credible atmosphere, reports New Telegraph.
Cameroon in the letter addressed to President Jonathan highlighted the importance of the elections for the African continent and Nigeria as a nation.

He warned that failure to ensure a violence-free election would dent Nigeria’s international reputation.
He praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and its Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, over the efforts made towards making the elections free and fair.
