Ado Ekiti -A robbery attack on a bank's Automated Teller Machine in
Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State capital, has claimed the life of a security
guard, Vanguard reports.
The
robbers were said to have attacked the bank which is located at the
Ajilosun area of the state capital at about 2am carting away undisclosed
amount of money.
The deceased was shot in the chest by the robbers as they arrived at the bank, disarming other security guards in the process.
The
state police commissioner, Taiwo Lakanu admitted that the ATM unit of
the bank was actually attacked, but not certain on the number of
casualty.
