Buhari’s wife denies being a foreigner

Kaduna - The wife of the presidential candidate of the All progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha Buhari, has denied reports making the rounds that she is a foreigner, reports Punch.

She noted that the false report that she is not a Nigerian is part of the orchestrated plot to disqualify her husband from the presidential race.

Speaking through Deborah Iliya, a chieftain of APC in Kaduna State, Aisha Buhari said the issue of where one comes from should not be part of the campaign issues.

She stated that Nigeria is bedeviled with a lot of problems that needed to be addressed urgently.
