Cape Town - Fearless zoo workers in Thailand are putting their lives at risk for less than R120 to impress visitors to the Samphran Elephant Ground & Zoo, just outside of Bangkok.
Watching
the clip, one cannot help feel pity towards the crocodiles, who live in
concrete enclosures and are being dragged around by their tails by the
stuntmen.
In the 24 hectare zoo, tourists can also pose for
photos with captive tigers or ride elephants. Elephants shows are also a
highlight. In these shows, visitors can watch elephant re-enact ancient
battle scenes in full regalia, or see the elephants ‘dance’ and play
football.
