OBJ CLEARED BUHARI

Abeokuta - Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has cleared the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Gen. Muhammadu Buhari of any wrong doing when he was Chairman of the Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF)., reports Punch.  Obasanjo disclosed this on Tuesday in Abeokuta when Buhari and other national leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) visited him at his Hilltop residence .  He noted that when he looked into the report submitted to him on the alleged fraud in the PTF he did not see anything that indicted Buhari.  Also read: Buhari is incorruptible, honest says Lamido  He urged Buhari and other presidential candidates to address the nagging issues of insecurity, economy and deficit in infrastructure.  The PTF fund was set up by late head of state Gen Sani Abacha from a certain percentage of Nigeria's oil earnings for development programmes.  Read more at Punch.
