Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan and the leadership of the Peoples
Democratic Party are confused about what to do with former President
Olusegun Obasanjo following agitations by some party members that
Obasanjo be expel from the party, reports The Nation.
Obasanjo
had lately been critical of President Jonathan and has been endorsing
candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the February general
elections.
The party is caught between either expelling him from the party or simply ignoring him.
While
some elders like Edwin Clark wants Obasanjo expelled, others feel the
party can still reconcile with him since the former President has said
he will never dump the party that made him president.
