PPA fires four state excos over election loss

Abuja - The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA) has dissolved the party’s executive committees in four states, reports Daily Independent.
The states are Niger, Ekiti, Sokoto and Plateau states.
The excos were dissolved following their failure to present candidates, promote and sell the party's manifesto in the recently-concluded general elections.

They were also accused of incompetence and misconduct.
PPA National Chairman, Peter Ameh, who announced the dissolution, said a 12-man caretaker committee has been appointed to take charge of the affected chapters pending the conduct of fresh congresses.
