Lagos - The Labour Party has warned the All Progressives Congress
(APC) against contesting in court the outcome of Tuesday’s elections in
the National Assembly, reports The Guardian.
The party described the outcome of the elections as another sign that Ngeria’s democracy is finally coming of age.
Kayode
Ajulo, the party’s National Secretary, while reacting to the emergence
of Senator Bukola Saraki as Senate President, commended the lawmakers
for not allowing themselves to be railroaded to endorse the selfish and
parochial desires of the minority at the expense of the majority.
He also commended President Muhammadu Buhari for not interfering in process.
