Dogara writes Buhari, Saraki

Abuja - The newly elected Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara has written to President Muhammadu Buhari, reports The Nation.

He wrote to inform him of his emergence as the Speaker and Olasunkanmi Sulaiman as the Deputy Speaker.
Dogara has also officially notified the Senate President, Bukola Saraki of the development.

Dogara in the letter said the emergence of the two House leaders followed the assembly of a quorum of the House that elected them.

He noted that with the emergence of the two House leaders, the House is ready to receive any message the President may wish to transmit.
