NNAMDI KANU: IMMINENT VICTORY AND DISUNITY IN THE IPOB CAMP

Abinito, it has been observed that the worst types of strife or crisis are the ones that happen or occur within a group or organization (intra). This is so because humans are naturally enmeshed or consumed by hate – and the desire to always dominate or out shine others. It even assumes a more sensitive dimension or monumental proportion when internal struggles are in pursuit of a goal such as being in charge of leading a large group of people – who are naturally powerful, prudent and exceedingly skillful. Stay with me.

Some months ago, the Nigerian government under the authority of General Muhammadu Buhari (Dr), wanted to test our resolve and resilience. This he did or perfected by incarcerating or abducting our supreme leader, Nnamdi Kanu (Nwa Chukwu Okike Abiama). As expected and in the most dramatic fashion, his followers, in Nigeria and all over the world protested (and still protesting) in a manner quite unprecedented and unknown to man. The protests so far have been adjudged by international community as the most coordinated and sophisticated in the history of man, perhaps owing to the fact that its happening quite simultaneously around the world. The threatening numbers who have so far engaged in these protests has made it even very real and intimidating. So far, I can authoritatively say that these protests have had tremendous impacts, and the world is watching and listening.

Director, before his arrest, instituted the best brains who have been assisting in the preaching or proliferation of the gospel of the restoration of the kingdom of Biafra. These individuals who are seasoned and have distinguished themselves in different fields of endeavour, so far haven’t failed in the discharge of their duties. They deserve accolades and encomiums. The success of these protests so far is linked to their sheer ingenuity, perseverance, wealth of knowledge and doggedness. I appreciate them.

In times like this, closing ranks and consolidating on feats and successes recorded/achieved vis-à-vis the emancipation of the Indigenous People of Biafra from the clutches of the Hausa/Fulani is a task expected of our leaders. Rancour, bitterness, disloyalty and treachery are traits we should drop in the cesspit if we want to win this battle. Treachery of any degree by individuals or groups – within the fold is the least we need at the moment.

Of a truth, disloyalty and insubordination are traits that should not be taken lightly in an organisation because it is undeserving and counter-productive. But there is always room for compromise if the need arises. The suspension of Mazi Uchenna Asiegbu, Barrister Emma Mmezu, Clifford Iroanya, Ikenna Nwanonenyi, all continental representatives etc is a good decision but technically faulty. I am not advocating for unprofessionalism and the likes, however, we need to soft-pedal on some issues if we perceive they will come in between us and our main goal – which is the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the restoration of Biafra by extension. The worst thing we can do to/for ourselves right now is to be divided. We need to come together no matter the case. We cannot afford to shoot ourselves on the foot even with the best of intentions and no matter the guise.

Therefore, Deputy Director Sir, please don’t get too exasperated. Loosen up a little and tamper justice with mercy. Please, you have to rescind your decision (suspension). We understand you have good intentions but being united at the moment transcends every other reason or interest. Our people say, ‘’Igwe bu ike’’ interpreted in English as ‘’Unity is strength’’. These protests must continue, and it is only you who holds the key.

God bless the Republic of Biafra.
