Tompolo: Buhari wants to repeat what the Russians did to Poland During World War II to the Ijaws

Niger Delta Secuity Watch Organisation of Nigeria, NSWON and Ijaw People’s Development Initiative, IPDI, in a joint statement by their leaders, Dickson Bekederemo and Austin Ozobo, said: “The people of Niger Delta and the ljaw in particular are not at war with President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. However, the ljaw will never sacrifice their bravest to satisfy the quest for neo-colonialism. When the moment comes, we shall stand with Tompolo.

“We believe that what the Federal Government wants to do is a repeat of what the Russians did to Poland during World War II, kill the bravest of their braves, the rest is history. We wish to inform President Buhari that in the hearts and minds of every Niger Deltan lies an embryonic Tompolo waiting to hatch.

“We call on President Buhari not to be deceived by a few pipelines surveillance contract seekers. There was Judea, yet Christ resurrected from the dead. There were traitors, yet Allah protected Prophet Mohammed in the cave with a cob web when people led his enemies to capture him.

“It may interest you to know that Tompolo is a strong member of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, even in defeat. Unlike some elements of the party from our region that are bread and butter members. Tompolo alleged that the APC- led government persuaded him to decamp to its fold. The party until date, did not refute his assertion.

“Suddenly, the EFCC froze the bank account of Global West Vessels Limited. The management of the company initiated an action against EFCC in court. The agency bluntly refused to file a defence, only for the agency to file charges against him in another Federal High Court.

“The question we will like to ask is: Is Tompolo the chief executive or the Managing Director of Global West Vessels Limited? Assuming, for the purpose of argument, that Global Vessels Limited committed financial crime, is Tompolo the alter ego of the company? The EFCC invitation and subsequent harassment and persecution of Tompolo goes beyond what meets the eye.”

JUST IN! See How Tinubu’s Wife Mocked & Threatened Buhari on the Floor of the Senate Today

JUST IN!  See How Tinubu’s Wife Mocked & Threatened Buhari on the Floor of the Senate TodayOluremi-Tinubu

The wife of the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator Remi Tinubu has mocked President Muhammadu Buhari’s government during the Senate plenary today, January 26.

Tinubu’s wife said that the change now experienced by Nigerians is not what was expected.
The senator also stated that the Buhari’s administration will incur the wrath of women if something is not done to improve the allocation to the women’s affair ministry.

Mrs.Tinubu also accused the government of abandoning women in IDPs.
Buhari’s ministerial list of 36 nominees has only six women. Five are from the North and one from the Southwest.

The gender picture in former president Goodluck Jonathan’s administration was by far better. He had more than 10 ministers in his cabinet.

EXPLOSIVE!!! COAS Buratai Implicated in Arms Deal Fraud- STNM

According to the Save The Nation Movement (STNM) Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, should included in the ongoing probe of abuse of funds meant for the procurement of arms.

“Major General Tukur Buratai was appointed director of procurement DHQ in 2012, a position he held until May 2015 that he was appointed force commander of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MJTNF), an appointment he held till he became chief of army staff,” Steven Chilaka, national secretary of the movement, said in a statement issued on Sunday.

As director of public procurement at the DHQ, all procurements by the military between 2012 and May 2015 passed through his office. Our question is; how can you probe procurement of arms within this period without the involvement of Major General Buratai, the man who was the director of procurement?

“Curiously too, only retired and serving officers of the Nigerian Air Force were said to have been indicted.
“Was the army being excluded from this probe to save Major General Buratai? Or Could procurements have been made without his involvement during the period that he was Director of Procurement?

“Definitely, it won’t be funny if President Muhammadu Buhari’s fight against corruption is also selective against the military as it already appears to be against the political class and the president must look into this obvious case of selective probe as a matter of urgency.”

Woman Delivers Conjoined Twins In Enugu (Photo)

Woman Delivers Conjoined Twins In Enugu (Photo)

An Enugu-based couple, Segun and Mary Ayeni, have shown great hope despite birthing a set of conjoined twin girls.
Speaking with SUNDAY PUNCH on Saturday, the parents of the girls, Miracle and Testimony, expressed optimism despite the condition of their twin daughters born on November 16, 2015, who are joined at the groin.

The father, Segun, 35, explained how, despite his initial reaction of trauma, his faith gave him the courage to pull through.

He said, “Naturally, you would be a little bit traumatised. That is natural. But in everything, when you know the word of God, it will strengthen you more, because it is part of life. There is nothing one can do about it. It has happened.

“When I first heard it was going to be twins, I was happy. But later they said they were joined in some way and I asked, ‘Conjoined how?’

“I thought it was the kind of thing whereby they would be separated immediately. But I later discovered that if they should try to operate immediately, we would lose the two (girls).”
Interestingly, the children are very healthy. According to their father, they are in perfect condition.

Ayeni said, “It was after the birth that we knew for certain that the babies were conjoined. When they (the doctors) were talking about it, I didn’t understand, not until the babies came out.

“They are not connected to anything (machine). They eat normally; they poo (defecate) and wee (urinate) normally because they have separate genitals and legs.

“They are not sharing any vital organs, according to the doctors. That is why they said their chances of surviving are very high. They are okay, except for the occasional fever, which is normal, and within one or two days, it is gone.”
Like Segun, his wife, Mary, attributed the birth to God and expressed an assurance that the twins were born for a purpose.

The couple, who celebrated their third wedding anniversary in December, had their first daughter, Marvellous, on November 19, 2013.

According to the mother of three, Marvellous has had a normal relationship with her siblings.

The day Mary took her firstborn along to the hospital; she said Marvellous played with them like any child would.

The mother said, “After the birth, I was told that they were conjoined, but it was two weeks later that I saw the children face-to-face. I delivered the babies by caesarean section. While I was in the hospital recuperating, the babies were transferred to the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital.

“It was a week after that I went there to see them and I was happy because they are strong; it was just that they are conjoined.
Will I question God? What will I do as their mother? God gave them to me,” she told our correspondent.

The twins, who are still in the Intensive Care Unit at UNTH, are visited by their mother every day.

Segun noted that though they went for five ultrasounds, they were unprepared for the peculiar birth. He added that the true nature of the children’s condition was kept from him.

He said, “They were just telling us, ‘It seems they are joined somewhere.’ They would not open up to you because they don’t know the kind of heart you have. You know that some people may not have the heart to withstand such a thing. It may be a strange thing to the person.

“Initially, they were even saying (they shared) one leg. An ultrasound (scan) can only give you (a view) of the full-fledged human form between six to seven months (to the delivery). We did it again in the sixth month.
Segun said tests were run on the twins regularly, adding that an average of N25,000 to N35,000 was spent for his children’s care weekly, while the fees could be much more, depending on the tests.

“The doctors are constantly checking to see if any of their vital organs are joined in any way. There’s another one we are about to do now — MRS (Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy) scan. Today, we will still do a series of it. That one is (a total of) about N80,000.

“I don’t keep track of all those costs because they are my children; I don’t expect anyone to pay me back. I really cannot recall the test I spent highest for.

Mary told our correspondent that though the nurses in the hospital are kind to her twins, she has been stigmatised by some hospital staff and neighbours.

“Because of illiteracy or not being exposed, some think that whenever anything (strange) happens, it is somebody that is behind it.

“Some female workers that clean the hospital asked, ‘Why are you disturbing yourself?’ They told me to leave the kids and run away. But I can never leave them and run away because they are my blood.”

“The neighbours living in my compound are fine; they understand because they are learned. But on the streets, some people that heard I had conjoined twins stopped greeting me. Some wouldn’t even talk to me; some that used to come and collect things from me before now talk about me in jest. They laugh. But God will take all the glory.”

Mary further expressed apprehension about the urgency of the situation of the children.

According to her, she has been trying to reach out to a woman, who had conjoined twins in 2007.

“I am looking for how to get in touch with the woman so I can find out a lot of things. I don’t understand what the doctors are doing. I am worried that they may be experimenting with my kids,” she said.

SHOCKER!!! Tenant Removes Neighbour’s 7-month Pregnancy With Kitchen Knife (Photos)

SHOCKER!!! Tenant Removes Neighbour’s 7-month Pregnancy With Kitchen Knife (Photos)
Pregnant-woman 2

A mother of two, Mrs. Oyinyechi Chinaka, is recuperating haven lost her seven months pregnancy after she was reportedly stabbed several times with a kitchen knife by her neighbour (names withheld) in Mushin area of Lagos.

Mrs Chinaka was rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, after the incident.
The victim’s agony began after she allegedly caught the neighbour stealing money from her purse and, not wanting the woman to expose him at number 11, Anjorin Street, Mushin, Lagos, the suspect was said to have stabbed Mrs. Chinaka with a kitchen knife severally on her stomach ,arm and neck and left her to bleed to death .

The mother of two could have died but for the timely intervention of neighbours who went looking for her and called for help after they saw her lying in her room in a pool of blood.

While neighbours were at a loss about what happened to her, the assailant went about as if nothing happened until he was found out by his elder brother and he confessed to stabbing Mrs. Chinaka .

The victim, who spoke to Sunday Vanguard on her hospital bed, narrated, “ I was at home that fateful day when my children came to me in the kitchen where I was cooking to say electricity had been restored, and that I should come to the living room to play a cartoon video, called Power Ranger, for them. I left what I was doing and went to operate the television for them. But to my astonishment, I saw the neighbour in my room. He was going through my purse to steal money. I caught him red handed. He was shocked .I said, ‘ So, you are the one stealing all the money that has been missing in this compound’. I was shocked because I trusted him and we had never quarrelled before. I usually left my children with him and he entered my house the way he liked, but for him to be stealing was shocking to me. As I was still talking to him, he ran out of the room and before I knew what was happening, he came back with a kitchen knife and told me that he will stab me with it. I thought he was joking but to my shock, he moved close and, as I attempted to escape, he held me and started stabbing me with the knife . He stabbed me until I lost consciousness. I did not know what happened next. I only found myself in hospital and, after surgery, I was revived. My husband told me that I was stabbed and would have died but for God’s mercy. I could not feel my baby anymore. I was seven months pregnant but my baby was not kicking”.

Mr. Henry , Mrs Chinaka’s brother- in-law, explained the trouble the family went through to get medical help for her.

“ When we heard that she was stabbed, the family rallied round and rushed her to LUTH. Doctors told us that she had to use the only ICU machine but a lot of people were on queue to use it. We ran helter skelter to look for money to deposit for her treatment. We had to deposit N500,000 and we have spent more than a million naira on her treatment but nobody knew who stabbed her and she was on life support machine for months . Unknown to us, the assailant’s elder brother had reported him to the police at the Olosan Police Station and the police had charged him to court for attempted murder without carrying out thorough investigation nor did they visit the woman in the hospital” , Henry said. “ We have been prevailing on the police to include the case of murder in the charge against the assailant because the woman lost her seven months old pregnancy due to the stabbing. The baby is in the mortuary but the DPO of the Olosan Police Station and the IPO are not ready to cooperate with us as they went on to charge the boy to court without hearing from the family of the victim. We are appealing to the police to revisit the case and amend the charge to include murder. We want justice to be done.”

A human rights activist, Mr. Ishola Agbodemu, urged the police to get justice for the victim, especially in the light of the lost pregnancy.

“If she had not been stabbed and made to go through such a terrible experience, she would have given birth to a child by now. The child’s murder should not be overlooked by the police”, Agbodemu said.

In his statement to the police, the suspect said he was pushed by an evil spirit to stab Mrs. Chinaka.
“I went to her house to steal money. She caught me but a spirit told me to stab her, so I went to the kitchen and took the knife and stabbed her with it. I stabbed her because I did not want her to reveal to other neighbours that I am a thief. I fled the house when I saw blood gushing out. It was my brother who exposed me. He saw a cut wound on my hand and he questioned me where I got it. I had to confess to him that I used knife to stab Mrs Chinaka. My elder brother took me to the Olosan police station and I was arrested”.

Suspected Terrorists Attack Five Villages In Adamawa, Kill 15

Suspected Terrorists Attack Five Villages In Adamawa, Kill 15

It has been a deadly attack in Adamawa State as suspected Boko Haram militants raided five villages in Girei Local Government of Adamawa State, leaving about 15 people dead.

This attack came just as the President Muhammadu Buhari had said that the war on Boko Haram has been significantly won and gave assurances that everything possible would be done to keep the terrorists away from reclaimed villages.

There had been earlier reports that suspected herdsmen carried out the attack but eyewitnesses told Channels Television that about 300 suspected terrorists carried out the attack.

Security operatives have since been sent to the area.

A community leader in the area, Mr Phineas Elsha, told Channels Television during a phone interview that leaders of the community, who were acting on information, had told security operatives that the attack was in the offing before the attackers struck.
