Buhari: Father Mbaka Receives The Lashing Of His Life
Kaduna-based Prophet and General Overseer of Christ’s Vision
Ministries, Revd Samuel Taiwo Deji, has told the Enugu-based Catholic
Priest, Revd Father Ejike Mbaka to withdraw his prophecy that some
people are plotting to kill President Muhammadu Buhari.
Revd Father Mbaka of Adoration Ministries, Enugu, had on New Year day,
January 1, 2016, predicted that some Nigerians were plotting to kill
the President.
However, Speaking with Daily Sun yesterday, Prophet Deji said Father Mbaka’s prediction was more of a demonic message than a divine one from God.
Revd Deji, 63, who is a professor of theology in Christian Education,
said he decided to write off Father Mbaka because God had told him (
Deji ) that there would be no bloodshed in the corridors of power in
2016.
According to the Ekiti State- born man of God: “Buhari should go and
sleep, not only sleep, but snore, because Father Mbaka is passing a
message that is demonic and not of God.
“Father Mbaka was in a hurry, he did not wait for God’s message for President Muhammadu Buhari.
“I see this type of message as too political, far from God’s words for
our President. In fact, many youths will be comfortable this year. But I
equally see famine hitting this country this year. So, people should be
wise how they manage their food this year.
The shocking prophecy of Rev Father Ejike Mbaka of Adoration
Ministries is still sparkling reactions among common people and Men of
God.
According to Mbaka’s prophecy, some people are plotting to kill President Muhammadu Buhari.
Kaduna-based prophet and general overseer of Christ’s Vision Ministries, Rev Samuel Taiwo Deji, has called on the
Catholic priest to withdraw his prophecy that some people are plotting
to kill President Muhammadu Buhari.
Speaking with Daily Sun on Wednesday, January 20, Prophet Deji, who
is also a professor of theology in Christian Education, noted that
Father Mbaka’s prediction was a demonic message rather than a divine
one.
A 63-year-old cleric said that he decided to write off Father Mbaka
because God had told him that there would be no bloodshed in the
corridors of power in 2016.
“Buhari should go and sleep, not only sleep, but snore, because
Father Mbaka is passing a message that is demonic and not of God.
“Father Mbaka was in a hurry, he did not wait for God’s message for President Muhammadu Buhari. “I see this type of message as too political, far from God’s
words for our president. In fact, many youths will be comfortable this
year. But I equally see famine hitting this country this year. So,
people should be wise how they manage their food this year,” he said.
Reacting to Mbaka’s prophecy, the Human Rights Writers Association of
Nigeria described it as “sensationalism”, “rumour peddling” and
“delusional fantasy”. The group called on the Nigerian Catholic
hierarchy to sanction the cleric over his shifting from sacred vocation
to political games.
Meanwhile, Adoration Ministries in Enugu state supported its
spiritual leader and urged security agents to see as prime suspects
those who criticize the recent prophecy of Father Mbaka.
Buratai orders all army officers to declare assests
Abuja – The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf
Buratai has directed all officers of the Nigerian Army who have not
declared their assets to do so immediately.
According to a statement issued last night by the Acting Director,
Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, the Army Chief gave the
directive during a conference with Principal Staff Officers and Directors serving at the Army Headquarters.
“It is to be noted that the Chief of Army Staff has done so, soon on
his appointment as Commander, Multinational Joint Task Force in May 2015
and also on his appointment as Chief of Army Staff in July 2015. Copies
of both are with the Code of Conduct Bureau” Usman said.
“This directive is in order, considering the fact that all military
officers are having Presidential Commission and are public servants, as
well as subject to both civil and military laws.
“In addition, given the current drive of the country for probity and
accountability, the Nigerian Army should not only key in but should be
one of the key drivers for such laudable project” the statement added.

was also listed among those who will be called to bar in New York in
January, 2016.

Read excerpts from the interview below: Congrats! How do you feel being called to the bar today?
I am grateful to God, my family and friends who have been of help to
me. I am humbled and privileged to have succeeded. Thus, I am very
happy. How does it feel being the first daughter of Prophet T.B Joshua?
I am privileged and fortunate to be the daughter of such a humble and
great man of God called TB Joshua. He is someone I look up to because
my father is a man of God and he has been able to guide me every time I
need him. I am too happy, so humble to be his daughter. He has been a
good guide.
Thus I can’t afford to disappoint him and God because to whom much is given, much is expected. And I love him.

How will you describe him, is he a good father?
He is a true example of humility. I have seen so many attributes in
him that is worthy to emulate. He is the best father everybody can pray
to have. I am not just saying that because he is my father but because
it’s the truth. Also, it’s not what I think about him or what people
think about him that count but what God says about him. Some people do not understand him. They even have wrong impression about him, what’s your take on that?
That’s why I said he is a true man of God and it’s not what people
say that count but what God says. Everybody has the right to air his
opinion but God’s opinion counts most. What’s his reaction to your success story?
He was very happy and proud of me. I am always happy whenever he is
proud of me. He has given me so much and I feel I have a lot to offer
and can’t disappoint him.
Has Civil War Started? Heavy Gunbattle Reported in Warri
There was heavy gun battle in Warri in the early hours of today.
“Someone please confirm, the sound of guns are coming from the river
side in warri? Am scared o. No sleep. Heavy gun shot (machine gun not
AK47)” – a resident reported.
Bankole-HameedMr Shehu Bankole-Hameed, author, politician is a
chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC. Bankole-Hameed, a
member of the Lagos Forum in
this interview, faults the agitation for Biafra. He also bares his mind on other sundry issues. Excerpts:
By Dapo Akinrefon 50 years after the truncation of the First Republic, do you Nigeria has learned lessons?
My first reaction is that the activists who truncated the First
Republic were men of questionable character in the fine profession of
the military. That was when a few soldiers mostly of the then Eastern
Region massacred prominent political and economic leaders of Northern
Nigeria and Western Nigeria only. This singular dastardly act resulted
in deep division and distrust among the three major actors in the
Nigeria political space; Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo, who had the
responsibility to get the project going. The death of Hausa and Yoruba
leaders in the hands of the Igbo officers created big economic and
political gaps in these regions. What followed was what we are still
witnessing today. Another aspect of the ill conceived coup is the
decimation of minorities. I don’t think we have acted out to show if we
as a nation have learned anything. There are growing concerns over the president’s continued refusal to obey court orders, what is your take on this?
I’m not going to say that I don’t think that the President is a party
to the court proceedings. EFCC I believe is the institution that is on
trial as regards court orders, but to be fair to them, explanation as to
how a new arrest is effected has been given. It was established in the
case of Dasuki for example, that he had new criminal cases for which he
was re-arrested. What is your reaction to the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu?
I think this is truly an interesting development. Here is someone who
knows that what he did embark on was nothing short of terrorism. What
does he expect of the authorities? Body massage, hotel accommodation or
what? He is lucky Nigeria is not interested in capital punishment,
otherwise he may be so charged. I think the government is even soft on
him. But do you think there should be a negotiation with the South East over Biafra?
This is a very good question. What is Biafra, who are the agitators
and how is the cry for it being funded? I will attempt to define Biafra
as best as I can and from the perspective of average Nigerian.
There was an attempt by Ojukwu now late, to steal away and enslave
non Igbo of the then Eastern Region, while taking over the oil in the
region.
He got his own people to buy into the act, there was no justification
for the declaration then, which made the concept of Biafra ineligible
for negotiations.
What needs to be done is to amend the Constitution to allow for legal
agitation, where structured steps are laid out for such discourse.
Many countries have such provision. There should be no force or
coercion in Union . Right now, activities related to agitation for
Biafra is tantamount to terrorism. Do you think each region should agitate for autonomy?
The question of regional autonomy may be discussed at state levels,
where various local communities agree that what is needed is the
granting of legal, financial and economic autonomy. Then the next step
is to convince the federal assembly on the need to amend the
Constitution to that effect. How many of the existing states can survive
being autonomous?
