PDP urges APC to stop mocking Nigerians
16:23 18/06/2015
Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has cautioned the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Presidency to stop mocking Nigerians with premature celebration of imaginary achievements, reports Vanguard.
The party in a statement on Thursday said it was embarrassing that the APC and aides of President Buhari decided to invade the minds of Nigerians with propaganda and tissues of lies instead of assisting the President to settle down and deliver his campaign promises to Nigerians.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, who released the statement, said Nigerians were thoroughly embarrassed by the frivolous list of the so-called achievements of Buhari in three weeks.
The party noted that the frivolous list of the so-called achievements has further exposed APC’s lack of capacity and direction as well as the inability to draw a line between propaganda by an opposition party and disseminating of credible information as a party in government.
The party urged the APC to stop embarrassing the nation with premature and unsubstantiated celebration of imaginary achievements.
