Lagos - The duo of Aaron Samuel and Ahmed Musa are expected to join the rest of their Super Eagles teammates before Sunday, when they are scheduled to leave Abuja for Kaduna, News24 Nigeria has learnt.
The duo are the only players that are yet to join the rest of the team ahead of next weekend's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.

All the other 13 of the 15 invited overseas based players have since joined the team in their Abuja camp, and trained on Thursday evening inside the main bowl of the Abuja National Stadium.

Samuel, who plays for Guangzhou R&F in the Chinese Super league was given an extension beyond the June 3 deadline, but it remains unknown why Ahmed Musa is yet to join the team.

The latter recently signed an extension to his deal with his Russian club, CSKA Moscow, and is now expected to arrive the team's camp before departure to Kaduna.

The game against Chad's Le Sao comes up on June 13, and will be Nigeria's first qualifier for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations billed for Gabon.

The former African champions missed out of a place at the last championship, with South Africa and Congo going ahead of them.

This time, the Super Eagles have also got former African champions, Egypt and Tanzania to contend with.

Corruption happens to be every where even the masses are corrupt. I need to make something clear to us for this country to change it must start from us, our mind set, the way we think maters a lot.

Even at the filling station the people suffering to buy the fuel are also corrupt. And when anything goes wrong they would start shouting Jonathan. Same thing would happen in the case of Buhari.

Because nothing absolute nothing you would do to please human beings. Now the only difference I can see between APC and PDP is general Muhamadu Buhari if the Buhari as at then is still the same now.
I hope for a better Nigeria, and may Almighty GOD help us. AMEN!

The PDP leaders believed that with block votes by its 49 senators, the party could win the most coveted seat with a simple majority.

To thwart the efforts of the PDP to retain these principal positions, the APC has summoned its federal lawmakers to a meeting on Thursday..
