Libya slave trade: Nigerians set to hold protest on Friday

A protest against slavery in Libya has been announced to hold on Friday in Lagos.
This follows global outcry on alleged slave trade boom, killings of migrants and human trafficking going on in the country.

The protest tagged ‘movement against second slavery’ would be held on Friday at the United Nations High commission Office.

Some prominent Nigerians, including a former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode have called out the Nigerian Government for keeping quiet over the ugly development.

FFK Shares Picture Of What Libyans Do To Sub-saharan Africans (Graphic Image)

Below is a picture showing an example of what Blacks are facing as slavery heightens in Libya. The picture was shared by Femi Fani-Kayode.

FFK wrote:
Roasted alive! This is what Libyans do to sub-saharan Africans who are looking for a transit point to Europe. They sell them into slavery and either murder, mutilate, torture or work them to death. All this yet not a word of condemnation from @MBuhari or other African leaders!

Mugabe’s Resignation; Not Yet Uhuru For Zimbabwe – Charles Ogbu

For millions of Zimbabweans, the 21st day of November will forever remain a historic day for that was the day what book-makers had thought impossible happened in the Southern African country as the strong man of Zimbabwean politics; President Robert Mugabe, was forced to step down as President after 37 years in power.
Worthy of note here is that Mugabe was not forced to resign by the common Zimbabweans protesting on the street or the activities of Morgan Tsvangarai-led main opposition party, the Movement for Democratic Change. He was forced out of power by his own ZANU PF party, his own Military and his own ZANU PF dominated parliament.

Earlier, the 93 year old leader had been placed under house arrest by his own Military before being sacked by his party as the leader followed by threat of impeachment which was actually initiated by Zimbabwean Parliamentarians before his resignation letter arrived parliament late Tuesday.

Trouble started for the Nonagenarian when he sacked his 71 year old close ally, the very powerful Mr Emmerson Mnangagwa, as Vice President, in a move interpreted by many as an attempt to position his wife, Grace Mugabe, as his successor.

Ironically, the sacked vice President will now take over Mugabe position and serve out his remaining term which will see him remain in office till late 2018. This is according to an official statement released by the ruling ZANU PF party.

History will remember Mugabe as a Patriot and Pan Africanist who played a significant role in the armed struggle to free his country from the chains of the British Imperialists and gifted his people with arguably the highest literacy rate in Africa. But on a negative side, the same history will see him as a Moses-turned-Pharaoh who saw himself as the only “Messiah” in the whole of Zimbabwe leading to numberless lethal crackdown on his perceived political opponents and gross human right abuses.
His well-intentioned but not-well-executed land reforms have seen the Southern African country face severe sanctions from the West leading to near-total destruction of the economy with the currency becoming almost useless.
Beyond the euphoria occasioned by Mugabe’s resignation, the key questions remain:
What next for Zimbabwe?
Was Mugabe forced out of power out of a genuine desire to enthrone genuine ‘change’ for Zimbabweans or was it just a fallout of intra-party power tussle informed by selfish interest of ZANU PF politicians and the army seen by many as the military wing of the ruling party?
Will Mugabe’s potential replacement, the ex spy chief and shortly exiled sacked Vice President, Mr Mnangagwa a.k.a “The Crocodile” be any different from Mugabe, considering that him, it was, who personally supervised almost all the grave cases of human right abuses and lethal crackdown on opposition which saw hundreds dead and thousands forced out of their homes in 2008?
Will Zimbabwean military which once swore never to take orders from the opposition leader, Morgan Tsvangarai, start seeing itself as a national military meant to obey anyone democratically chosen by Zimbabweans or will it continue to act as ZANU PF Military wing?
All these and many more are questions that will be answered in the coming weeks and months. Whatever answers they get, one thing is certain:
For Zimbabwe as a country, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Whether it is the light of a young moon or that of an oncoming brake-less trailer, only time will tell
But, For now,
It is not yet Uhuru for the former British colony.

Biafra: You can’t fool Igbos – MASSOB speaks on Buhari’s visit

The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, yesterday, said President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to the South-East cannot “fool” people of the region.

The President was in Ebonyi State on Tuesday, from where he proceeded to Anambra State on Wednesday.
Reacting MASSOB insisted that Buhari’s visit to the South-East was an attempt to discourage the people of the zone from agitating for secession.

MASSOB National Director of Information, Samuel Edeson, in a statement, said, “The Movement For The Actualisation Of The Sovereign State Of Biafra under the leadership of Uchenna Madu, disagrees with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari on his speech in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

“President Buhari’s attempt to discourage Ndigbo from supporting secession is laughable.
“For Mr. President to describe our agitation as a senseless propaganda shows how uncomfortable Aso Rock is and also his level of understanding.

”It’s like Mr. President does not understand tolerance and diversity; when Fulani herdsmen were killing, destroying farms and burning houses, Mr. President called them criminals.

“The Arewa youths gave notice to quit to Ndigbo, they were addressed as youths, but when we said that we are no longer interested in the political entity called Nigeria, we became terrorists.

“Soldiers invaded our land, killing our people and destroying our property. That is what Mr. President called tolerance and acceptance.

“His promise to build Enyimba/Nnewi auto parks is nothing but political propaganda just to deceive our people. Why must it be 2018?

“MASSOB wants to make it clear that the construction of the second Niger Bridge and reconstruction of all the roads in Igboland cannot change our desire for the restoration of Biafra.”

Mugabe: Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied removal of Zimbabwean president – Fani-Kayode

Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation, has revealed that Prophet T.B.Joshua of Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, predicted the ousting of President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe.

Fani-Kayode recalled that the controversial prophet had in 2014 predicted that the Vice President in a “South African country” would be removed.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain also noted that the president of same nation will be overthrown and kidnapped.

In a tweet via his social media handle, the former Minister wrote: “In 2014 Prophet T.B. Joshua gave a prophecy about exactly what has happened in Zimbabwe today.

“He said that the VP in a “southern African country” would be removed and then there would be a coup and the President and First Lady of that country would be toppled and kidnapped.”

Recall that reports had it that Mugabe, was booted out of office through a bloodless military coup which brought to an end his 37-year iron grip on power.

His removal was sequel to Mugabe’s recent removal of his former Vice-President, Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Teachings on Tithing: Daddy Freeze Flays Pastor Adeboye With an Epic Reply.

ontroversial OAP, Daddy Freeze has replied the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s response to his teachings on tithing.

According to pastor Adeboye, ‘Pay your tithes to avoid divine curses’.
Read Freeze’ response below…

“Dear Pastor Adeboye, If you permit me, I will like to humbly seize this opportunity to raise some questions I consider valid. – Why did you say in a viral video, that even a mad person knows that you don’t drink alcohol in a church? – Although from a sentimental point of view, your premise might seem right, but is it really what the Bible teaches us?

“The book of Deuteronomy 14:22-26, when speaking about paying tithes, instructs us to take our tithe to the place the LORD has chosen, and if the place is too far, we are instructed to sell the portion of our tithe and use it to buy anything our heart desires, listing alcohol as one of the items that could be bought with our tithe. The King James Version says ‘strong drink’, the Holmans Bible says ‘beer’ while the new international version specifies ‘fermented drink’.

“All the above are forms of alcohol. – So if you say even a mad person knows that you don’t drink alcohol in church, are you suggesting that the modern day church is not the ‘place the LORD has chosen for tithe to be paid and for his name to be worshiped’ as described in the book of Deuteronomy, or are you implying that the Bible was written by lunatics, or are you perhaps doubting God’s sanity?

“Another issue I’ll be grateful if you can throw some light upon, is where our first pastors and Daddy GOs, the 12 disciples, collected tithes, or where they instructed the believers who took over the headship of the church from them, to collect tithe. – I humbly suggest, that you kindly address the above questions with biblical evidence, as against whipping up sentiment, or employing what many preachers use, and in my opinion, I consider; ’emotional tactics’.

“– As the Berean Christian that I am, before accepting any doctrine, I research the scriptures to see if it aligns accordingly, with the word of God. – Thank you sir, I hereby extend my highest considerations and best regards. ~FRZ #FreeTheSheeple – Deuteronomy 14:26 KJV [26] And thou shalt bestow that (tithe) money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the Lord thy God,”
